The argument is a tricky one. Least sensitive and controversial. The thesis to be proved, creeping circulating for some time in international counter. Those who, for comparison, are the conspiracies plotted by the "system" the only acceptable historical truth. Worth talking about, but with the right foot of lead.

The history. Syria, in March 2011. During the Arab riots of Spring that inflame the Middle East, bloody riots broke out in the country against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. Opponents claim democratic rights. The regime responds with force against the rebels who organize themselves into armed groups. According to the UN, the beginning of the revolt, the dead, almost all civilians, have more than eleven thousand.

We come to the conspiracy. Facebook would be directly involved in Washington's plans to overthrow the Syrian government. The collaborative arrangements simple and discreet. Tolerance to the presence on the social network of groups called "terrorist" who share the platform Zuckerberg names, photos, addresses and details about the habits of some people uncomfortable endorsing the Assad regime. Often translate into real sentences to death, physically carried out using the kind of information.

The Syrian government have repeatedly claimed the cancellation of these groups that would put at risk the lives of hundreds of people. The international requests for removal of data from sever Palo Alto are complex and unsuccessful. From Damascus accuse, no response from Facebook. The CIA and NSA that constantly monitor the social network to turn a blind eye and let run for a mere utilitarian calculation of national interest. The relations between the U.S. and Syria, of course, do not shine. The result is that these groups continue to remain active with all the consequences.

I said at the beginning, let's go with leaden feet. The story remains to be shown. To avoid creating misunderstandings, at least for those not familiar with the matter, it should be emphasized that the Syrian government is no joke. Is repressing in a bloodbath the exasperation of a people. Democracy swept away with their arms folded, and the logic of the regime.

I will not go into this discourse. But try to apply the same logic as above to any other context. Imagine if all this were true, what would be the impacts of global distorted by the use of Facebook.

The consideration is simple. All data shared on social networks are owned by Palo Alto. For the transitive property, are of direct access by the sovereign state, the United States.

If indeed there was an unreported connivance with government agencies like the CIA, NSA, FBI in the management of some arbitrary information for purposes of national interest (not necessarily in line with those of other countries) the United States would have in our hands the most precious archive that history has ever given.

Maybe it's just the plot is not too successful of a novel inspired by the bestseller by Robert Ludlum. But Zuckerberg and company should think about. Still though, the thing, it has not already got out of hand.
